DATABASES
- DBIS, the database information system of the University of Hamburg, provides information and access to general databases in Classics, Philosophy and Jewish Studies.
- Since autumn 2016, the national Subject Information Service for Jewish Studies (Fachinformationsdienst Jüdische Studien = FID) provides password-protected online access to a range of specialist full-text databases in Hebrew:

- The Maimonides Centre has purchased offline access to the Hebrew full-text database of the Bar Ilan Responsa Project. The database provides advanced retrieval options for accessing Biblical texts, Biblical commentaries, and a very large corpus of responsa literature (rabbinical questions and answers). The USB stick can be borrowed in room 5020.
